I have been racking my brains to come up with some amazing word starting with the letter V for today’s #AtoZChallenge post. However, the only one I can think of is Vacation.
It’s no surprise that I can only think of Vacations because not only are the kids on holiday but all adults around me also seem to be either planning their vacations or are already on vacation. This isn’t a post about surviving a holiday with infants – for that you can visit either this post or this one. Because let’s face it, you can’t really go on a trip around the world with your infant even if you had the leave, money and inclination to. You could always go for a weekend away as well but with an infant even that can be quite the mission. Instead, here are five fun ideas of one-day activities you can indulge in for these summer vacations:
Fruit picking in a local orchard
Sunset at a far away beach
Day in the park for a music festival
Head for a hike (or a long long walk)
Spend a morning at the local farmers’ market
