Everybody starts at zero. So here’s a letter to my son telling him how to embrace the zero’s that come his way and how he can grow from them.
Growing Up Boys
For some reason, the older we get the less we say Yes. This is especially true of new moms who are overwhelmed with the things that are now on their plate. It seems easy to say No. But, I choose to say Yes and here is how I am trying to go about it.
A letter for my dearest friend Innocence whom I have know since childhood but have lost touch with as I grew up. He is now my child’s best friend and it’s wonderful to have him around once again.
“Be a good boy/girl and don’t do…” How many of us are guilty of constantly expecting our children to meet a standard of behaviour that on most days we can’t achieve ourselves. Let’s quit the double standards!
Gifts don’t have to be expensive to be precious. Instead they need to be made with love. I made one such gift of love for my newborn – a knitted blanket.
